We've been extracting data from the web since 2013. That's not a boast, it's just context. In that time we've delivered over 500 projects for UK businesses, built a small but experienced engineering team here in Norfolk, and registered with the ICO as a data processor. What We Actually Do
We write Python and C# scrapers that pull structured data from public websites, clean and normalise it, and deliver it to wherever you need it: SFTP, webhook, direct database write, your choice. And we don't disappear after the build. The monitoring, the proxy rotation, the cron jobs that keep everything running at 3am without anyone having to think about it, that's all part of what we do.
The sites we work with most often are ones your team is probably already watching manually. Companies House, the FCA register, GOV.UK, the Planning Portal, Land Registry, Rightmove, Zoopla. Public sources, all of them, but pulling data from them reliably and at scale is a different matter entirely from clicking through pages one at a time.
Who We Work With
Retailers use us for price monitoring. Not glamorous, but it matters, and doing it across dozens of competitor sites with a headless browser and sensible rate limiting is not something you want to bodge together on a Friday afternoon. Property companies pull listing data from Rightmove and Zoopla through us, formatted and ready for analysis rather than raw HTML. Financial services firms monitor the FCA register for changes, because missing an update there has consequences. Legal and compliance teams watch GOV.UK and Companies House. Recruitment agencies track job posting volumes across boards to understand where the market is moving.
But the specifics vary. We've built pipelines for clients whose use case didn't fit any obvious category, and that's fine. The extraction problem is usually solvable.
How the Delivery Works
Data comes to you however your systems expect it. SFTP drops, webhook pushes, a database your team can query directly. We've set up Slack integrations where results land in a channel every morning. The format is agreed upfront, and we don't change it without telling you, because we know that downstream processes break when field names shift unexpectedly (we've seen it, and it's a tedious thing to debug at short notice).
We're ICO-registered, we work only with publicly available data, and we can provide compliance documentation if your legal team asks for it. Most do.
